As select Macy’s stores nationwide and Macys.com gear up for Wednesday’s Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse Only at Macy’s capsule collection launch, here is a behind the scenes video of Mr. Lagerfeld working on the sketches, with models, and commenting on the most anticipated affordable luxury collection of the season! Karl nabbed Coco Rocha to be the face of the collection (images floating around the web).
The collection has the Karl aesthetic with a little Chanel influence of the black and white but there was no tweed in sight, making us respect him even more for not milking the iconic fashion brand for all it’s got in the name of fast fashion. Several celebrities have already hit the red carpet in the new collection and we’re positively sure it is going to sell out faster than you can say Chanel Mimosa.
