Vikram Chatwal feted the opening of his latest venture, the Dream Hotel Downtown in Chelsea, a month and a half ago but it has become the hot spot to throw exclusive parties for the fashion set. The hotel’s swanky rooftop pool, named the Beach, has been the scene for must attend soirees, including the DKNY Sunglass Soiree on Tuesday evening. Hollywood rising stars turned out for the fabulous party that celebrated the brand’s latest sunglass collection.
Twilight star Kellan Lutz, dressed in monochromatic gray with suspenders hanging down his waist, showed off his sun-kissed locks while sitting poolside with Gossip Girl and Monte Carlo actress Katie Cassidy. Though we would have rather seen Kellan go topless to show off those rock hard abs in the pool wearing nothing but his swim trunks and DKNY Sunglasses, we appreciated being in the same radius.
Two gorgeous brunette models, dressed in lovely DKNY bathing suits swam in the pool as guest sipped on Summer cocktails and lounged under DKNY umbrellas. The label had several DKNY branded carts full of various sunglass styles, which they gifted to guests.
