The Young & the Restless To Launch Jabot Cosmetics Line

Sony Pictures and CBS Consumer Products have inked a deal Fusion Brands Inc. to bring to life the fictional Jabot Cosmetics line from the Young & the Restless to real women.  Women have enjoyed the Jabot cosmetics story line for decades, watching as the Newman’s and the Abbots fight for control of the brand.  Now women everywhere will get a chance to unlock the secrets of looking as beautiful as the women depicted in the soap operas.

The new Jabot Cosmetics, launching June 19, will include three collections – Overnight Sensation, Camera Ready Color and Red Carpet. The line will also include a luxurious fragrance and body care, which will launch later in the year.  The product line is formulated with anti-aging ingredients to fight lines and wrinkles and reverses the signs of aging, after all, Vicki Newman still looks like she’s in her early 40s.  Included in the line will be a color collection so that women can be ready for their close-ups anytime of day.

The Young & the Restless actress Tracey E. Bregman, who plays Lauren Fenmore on the show, has been nabbed as the brand ambassador.  This will be scripted into the show and for the first time, fans can own a little piece of the show and watch the story line as it unfolds.

Maria Bell, producer and head writer for Y&R said: “The brand launch is going to be completely integrated to the show. The back story on how Jabot started and product development is going to be featured in Y&R story lines, and we are going to use actual Jabot products on-set with the same packaging as you will see in retail. Plus, viewers will soon see a new Jabot set as well!”

An exclusive 3-piece Emmy Collection Kit will be available at www.ShopJabot.com for a limited time for $59.50 to coincide with the Daytime Emmy Awards.  Bregman will preview the line live on HSN on June 21 at 8 p.m. and June 22 at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The entire collection will officially launch on July 28 at 2 a.m., 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. (all times EDT).The collection will also be available at Ulta retail locations, with prices ranging from $15 to $40.
