Talbots, Charlotte Russe & Vintage

November 3, 2010

As the weather gets colder, deciding what to wear gets a bit tougher, primarily because I tend to wear dresses 99% of the time, which leaves my legs vulnerable to the elements. Opaque tights and leggings are my best friends during the warm winter months. In any case, I decided to wear my v-back Talbots dress last night but wanted to go for a monochromatic look.

I decided on wearing my plumb Charlotte Russe Bowed Vamp Peeptoe pumps to compliment the dress. Since the weather was a bit nippy out and I couldn’t find any of my opaque tights, I went for sheer tights to cover up my legs.  The trench coat was a fabulous buy from my roommate, who thought I would look great in it. He bought it at a thrift store for just $1.50. I spent half the night at the Cooper Square Hotel at the Lanvin for H&M press preview (post to come shortly). I borrowed the Lanvin for H&M sunglasses, which resemble a tinted version of Alber Albaz’s signature lenses for my photo. They are on my list of must haves in the collection.
