I’ve always been a huge fan of Nicole Miller‘s flirty, fun party dresses. Since I purchased my prom dress from the designer’s ready-to-wear collection six years ago, both she and I have significantly grown in taste. Miller’s current pieces are sexy, refined, and perfect for any party, from a holiday fete to a wedding. When I heard she would be making an appearance at a private shopping event at her Tyson’s Galleria store last week, I was thrilled for the chance to shop her designs (at 25% off!) and meet the renowned designer herself.
The Tyson’s Galleria store is one of only 20 free standing Nicole Miller stores worldwide (her pieces can be found internationally in Nordstrom’s, Bloomingdale’s, and other department stores), and true to her word, Miller herself showed up to chat with invitees and admire her collection. 15% of all proceeds from the evening went to benefit the Children’s National Medical Center.
Guests also got the chance to chat up local celebs, like Real Housewife Mary Amons and The District Dish/K Street Kate’s Kate Michael. Lebanese Taverna and Georgetown Cupcake catered the evening, and music was provided by the talented Gabriel Valverde.
