Think Pink | Carolee and Amrita Singh Design Breast Cancer Awareness Jewelry

October 6, 2010

We’ve never been huge fans of the color pink–in our opinion, women clad in overabundant pink bear a close resemblance to Pepto Bismol bottles–however, every October, we make a huge exception.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month would be an excuse for us to flaunt even the most ridiculous of crimson and coral get-ups, and a little pink isn’t much to ask for in the name of supporting women worldwide. We’ve bought ribbons, tee shirts, totes, and more throughout the years, but this year designers are creating pink pieces for the occasion that we–dare we say it–actually love.

Among our favorites are jewelry designers Carolee and Amrita Singh‘s pink statement pieces. Carolee and Singh will be donating 10% and 20%, respectively, from the sales of these gorgeous necklaces, earrings, and rings to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Carolee BCA Necklace ($100)
Amrita Singh Hampton Carnation Ring ($30)
Amrita Singh Shelter Island Necklace ($150)
Amrita Singh Bridgehampton Earring ($40)

How we love shopping for a cause! We’ll take one BCA necklace and one Hampton ring, please. Stay tuned throughout the month of October for our “Think Pink” series, as we feature more stylish and philanthropic pink purchases that we would love to wear throughout the year.
