Washington Life hosted its Fifth Annual Young & Guest List party last week at the Washington Club. The event was one of the most coveted invitations among the 40 and under set in Washington. Yours truly received an invite from Washington Life editor Michael Clements to attend one of the best social events of the Spring. The Young & Guest List is a compilation of 250 movers and shakers making this city a vibrant and world class one. The list included White House officials, technology professionals, philanthropists, personalities and political power players. Above, I’m with Young & Guest Lister Erika Guttierez on the left and Sweetgreen’s Bona Park on the right.
All party go-ers were dressed to the nines but a few stood out of the crowd. Below, blogger Aureta Thomollari looked stunning and dazzled in a black Comme des Garcon frock with tons of rosettes. She completed her look with Miu Miu glitter platform pumps and a vintage earrings. Angie Goff, dressed by Washington designer Tashia Senn in a yellow jumpsuit with a ruffled collar here with Blonde Charity Mafia’s Katherine Kennedy, who in a genius move, transformed her Ralph Lauren scarf into a top thanks to lots and lots of tape.
PR at Partners gave me a fabulous blowout and straighten for the night. I chose to go the simple route with a blue silk Balenciaga dress and snakeskin pumps. Thanks to the magic of tape for keeping my breasts in place in the deep plunging dress. I rarely show so much cleavage but I was feeling a bit daring and went for it. I think it paid off big time.
Two of the owners of Sweetgreen, Nicolas Jammet and Nathaniel Ru, who looks absolutely dashing with those glasses.
