There was a point in time when wearing black and blue together was deemed a faux pas. Celebs put this age old dilemma to rest by sporting blue frocks with black heels or blue skirts and black tops in the spring of 2007. The combination of black and blue was endless and it got me thinking, “how is it that black and blue, the color combo on a bruise, isn’t supposed to be worn?” Sure bruises are bad but they do compliment the various skin tones. This season, designers have brought back black and blue color combo and I am loving it. Giorgio Armani’s ad campaign for spring/summer 2010 squashes the “black & blue” faux pas, and fashionably I might add.
