Tongues were wagging at the First Annual Data Awards in Los Angeles last night as Milkshake singer Kelis strutted on the green carpet for photos ops in the now infamous Alexander McQueen Armadillo boots. Besides Lady Gaga and Daphne Guinness, Kelis is the third celebrity to rock the shoes proudly and stand tall doing so. I’m am impressed Kelis could hold her own in the towering 12-inch piece of art. I would have been crying and walking on bended knee in the shoes. I’m going to put my money on the fact that we’re going to see more celebrities wearing the Armadillo boots. If these starlets have the cajones to rock the boots, they should go ahead and pick a more daring color, like the snakeskin pattern. How does Kelis look in thes shoes? I think she looks like a character from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats.
