Men’s Fall 2010 Collection: Moschino tribute to Milan

January 20, 2010

I haven’t been paying as much attention to the Autumn/Winter 2010 men’s collection showing in Milan as I should be. (bad Glamazon! Bad bad Glamazon!). I plan on doing an overall review of some of my favorite collections towards the end of this week.  I am going to start with Moschino Men’s 2010 Autumn/Winter collection.  Paying a tribute to Milan, the collection features digital prints of Milan on nylon parkers, a snow covered Solari Park for a smoking jacket and quirky concert scenes  at the Milan Arena and a Club Plastic disco ball on t-shirts.
Zippers make a cameo in the collection on leather jackets, double-breasted herringbone coats, pinstriped jackets and cable-knit cardigans.  This isn’t your dad’s Moschino.  Bundling up this upcoming fall is going to be fun for the jet-setter or New York/L.A. hipsters and men with discerning taste for contemporary pieces.  Let’s not forget footwear, because men also do love shoes.  The brogues are updated with punched leather in bold colors. I have a few friends who will most likely flock to this collection.  For the boys that love fashion but don’t prefer to be dressed a bit less formal, the high tops in classic corduroy and suede will be the perfect little piece for a denim and blazer combo or shorts and a t-shirt with a fedora.
