It’s official! Lady Gaga and Alexander McQueen are a match made in fashion heaven. I have been trying to stay off the Lady Gaga promotion but couldn’t help it when I checked out her “Bad Romance” video last night after she guest starred on Gossip Girl. The chanteuse knows how to rock some bold fashion trends and McQueen, the master of macabre and art in fashion did not disappoint in dressing her for the video.
Editors at British Vogue wrote about the McQueen armadillo heels that previewed on the Spring/Summer 2010 runway. The shoes, seen above and below, measure in at 12 inches total height with a 10-inch heel. The girls at Vogue couldn’t walk in it, which makes me admire and bow down to all those models that looked fabulous traipsing down the runway.
Jesus! Can you imagine walking down the street in these shoes? I would probably be on crutches or walking on bended knees. Gaga has to be commended for looking so fabulous those outfits in the video. Not since the 80s Michael Jackson, Madonna and Janet Jackson have I been this excited to see a music video with so much fashion.
