I’m all about giving some love to Mexico, especially after the swine flu debacle. A lot of celebs have been rocking Mexican inspired frocks, accessories, shoes and hats and good ol’ America is hoping on board the trendy train.
So in honor of our brethren south of the border, I’ve chosen some summer chic worthy glam wear to show our Mexican pride.
Nothing says I’m ready for a vacay in Cancun or even SoBe or Dewey than fab florals in colorful prints. You don’t have to stick with just dresses. There are tons of stores, both online and off, with a stock of bathing suits, shoes and accessories that fit into our Mexican theme.
My first choice is a strapless blue floral dress from Forever 21. At just $19.80, the Shanae Floral Woven Dress is the perfect choice for this trend. Why splurge if the trend isn’t going to be around for more than one season. The other is a cap sleeved dress from Alloy, which will set you back only a few pesos with enough left over to grab the gals and head the Lauriol Plaza for a pitcher of frozen margaritas. YUM!
