For a while, Emma was rumored to take over Kiera Knightley’s spot as the face of Chanel. These rumors stemmed from the starlet opting to wear Chanel to most events.
“It’s kind of my lucky brand [Chanel], a fail-safe. I live, really, in jeans from Topshop, blazers from Ralph Lauren or Reiss, and ballet flats. It’s very hard to describe your own style and I’m young, so I’m still experimenting. But I think it’s quite British and very much about individuality. There’s nothing interesting about looking perfect—you lose the point. You want what you’re wearing to say something about you, about who you are,” said Emma on her style. [Teen Vogue]
The Teen Vogue photoshoot, shot by Norman Jean Roy, depicts Emma Watson in her element. The young and contemporary British Lady of the Manor is very befitting for the startlet. Fun, flirty, edgy yet still an air of innocence.
She credits paparazzi and the tabloids for meddling in her relationships but keeps mum about her life outside of the spotlight. She plan on enrolling in college this fall but won’t spill the beans on where she plans on starting as a student. One thing is for sure though, Emma Watson wants to be normal. She insists that she will never act again unless the project inspires and challenges her as much as the Harry Potter films.
Between filming the newest Harry Potter film, promoting the latest one, a relationship, endorsement deals and celebrity appearances, I hope Emma will have time for her studies. Emma also reveals in her interview that she plans on staying in a dorm room and having a roommate as long as the person doesn’t have Harry Potter posters all over the room.
The August issue of Teen Vogue hits newstands on July 1.
