I bought the Eve bag by Lauren Merkin last month during the Gilt Groupe sale. I love it so much that I am kicking myself for not buying a couple more in different colors. At this point I can either wait for another online sale or just buy one at some of the boutiques in the city. Aside from Sassanova, which has been getting a great plug on the blog today (no they didn’t pay me or give me free stuff) because they were one of the few stores that was actually opened when I was walking back from brunch and also because I just love their selection of shoes and accessories, CUSP down in Georgetown also sells them. If you want a cute clutch that won’t detract from your outfit, get a Merkin and join the legion of Merkinites who can’t get enough of the designer’s savvy and chic handbags.
