Orange and black combination is one of the big trends for fall 08. Designers took orange to a whole new level by making it the dominant color on the runways. Orange and black are no longer just for Halloween.
Christian Lacroix, Commes des Garcons and Narcisco Rodriguez said goodbye to the little black dress and sent models out in orange dresses with black accents. Orange came in volumes at the Commes des Garcons runway where voluminous skirts and tops were the top trends. Moschino Cheap & Chip created its own version of the Halloween look with an orange coat with black accents.
Alessandro Dell’ Acqua and Prada added hints of orange to black. Prada’s lace dress with an orange accented turtleneck was romantic and chic. Dell’ Acqua paired the little black dress with orange opaque tights and tan shoes. The orange and black trend is all treats and no tricks.
