Man Purses Dominate the Runways in Milan

What will it take for a man to carry a purse err I mean bag? When designers at Milan fashion week unveil the latest trend in pants for men, skinny. Tight skinny pants leave no room for wallet, keys, cell phone or business card holder so the only option for the men on the runway was to carry man bags. Etro, Marni and Salvatore Ferragamo took the purse to another level by ‘man-ing up’ their bags. Men’s bags on the runway included business portfolio cases at Marni and Ferragama, although Ferragamo chose to spruce the bag up with color, hot magenta. Etro’s oversized beige bag with straps was neutral and manly. I am not sure if American men would ever carry a bag but who knows…times are changing. [The Cut]
