Sex and the City star Kristin Davis is following in the footsteps of her co-star and friend Sarah Jessica Parker. The actress announced the launch of her clothing line – The Kristin Davis Collection – exclusively for Belk, a southern department store, this week in Charlotte, North Carolina. The first collection in the Kristin Davis line will feature a femine and savvy assortment of women’s apparel, sleepwear, loungewear, shoes, handbags and jewelry. If you’ve never heard of Belk don’t worry; it’s a chain of department stores in the South. The only way I know this is because I went to school in North Carolina for two years. The exclusive line will be carried in 126 of Belk department stores and online begining in the fall. Come spring, the Kristen Davis Collection will be available to over 200 more Belk stores in the South. If you live in California or anywhere above the Mason Dixon Line, you can still outfit your closet with Davis’ collection via online shopping. Where would we be without the Internet?
