It’s yellow, it’s ugly, it doesn’t go with anything, but it could save your life.”

– Karl Lagerfeld for new French road safety campaign
Karl Lagerfeld took time out of his busy schedule to don a reflective yellow safety vest for a new French road safety campaign. The head of Chanel still managed to look debonair in a suit, his signature shades and gloves, a bow tie and even completed the look with fluorescent safety vest. Being safe has never looked this good. Despite the Lagerfeld’s message: “It’s yellow, it’s ugly, it doesn’t go with anything, but it could save your life,” the ad still has a chicness to it. Bravo for making fashionistas aware of road safety. [FWD]
