Purple Haze

I just woke up and I am feeling unusually elated about today being Thursday. After a long struggle between me, my cast and the shower, I hobbled to the closet to find a cute outfit for today. I have lunch plans with a friend this afternoon and happy hour later this evening so I need something that will take me from day to night. I found this Catherine Malandrino dress with tags still on them in my closet. I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have not worn it.

The weather is going to be very nice today so I can get away with wearing this dress. I am throwing a long white cardigan over it. I don’t have a lavender cardigan so I have to make due with what I have today. I got a pedicure yesterday so I am going to wear my Lambertson flats. I don’t have this Derek Lam “Violet” Satchel but if I did, I would be carrying it with this outfit. I do have an old YSL bag that has not seen the light of day since last year. This outfit calls for accessories so I went into my mom’s closet and ‘borrowed’ her old Hermes Foulard. She has a lot of scarves that she never wears and I don’t think she will miss this for the day. Teeheehee! The items seen here are all available online. I think you can still find the Hermes foulard on the Hermes website. Sunglasses are by Betsey Johnson. The Derek Lam bag is available at Barney’s New York. I bought the Lambertson sandals from Bluefly a couple of days ago so I know they are still there. Happy spring ladies.
