The Ladies of the Madison present Pink To Drink

March 20, 2008

What’s better than a Thursday bender? Fist pumping to
Please donn’t stop the music by Rihanna and drinking pink martinis at Smith Point with the fabulous ladies of the Madison while raising money for breast cancer research. Please join the ladies of the Madison at Smith Point to raise money to benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I am not an advocate of excessive drinking; however, who can pass up a $20 open bar from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. and $5 cosmos all night long? Uhmm….where do I sign up? The party goes on all night so if you have nothing planned for tonight, please stop by or just stop by anyway and go home by 11 p.m. Pink attire is not require but strongly suggested. So here are a couple of options if you don’t have anything pink in your closet.

It’s really cold and windy today and I bet it will be even worse tonight. You’ve gotta dress for the occasion and the weather. For something simple and warm, try this pink J. Crew v-neck sweater, on sale for $69, with black cigarette jeans or pants and some black pumps. Just stop by the J.Crew store in Georgetown or Pentagon City.
If you live in dresses like I do then stay in your element. Run to Nordstrom and get this Rebecca Taylor dress. Pair it with some grey, not black, opaque tights, pumps or even boots and a cute jacket.
