Old Man winter is not dead yet despite the sporadic warm weather we’ve been having in the Washington area so don’t put away those winter coats yet. I bought a black winter coat from Victoria’s Secret years back and have been wearing the same coat forever. I love this coat but I got tired of wearing the same boring peacoat. I was perusing online boutiques and came across one of the most fabulous coats I have laid my eyes on, the Apple Black Coat by Mackage Celeste. The coat looks even better in real life than in the pictures. 
I love the wrap collar on this coat; it definitely eradicates the need for a pashmina or a scarf. The coat has a militaristic feel to it but is still very feminine and sexy. I wore this coat to dinner with friends last night and I received rave reviews. Of course all the girls wanted to know where I got the coat. I am not the one to brag but this is the IT coat.
One of my favorite accessories on this coat is the soft wide leather belt. It is very flattering because it defines and creates an alluring hour glass shape. It makes the coat a lot more edgy. I also love the wide bell sleeves on this jacket.
