Maroon 5 front man and “The Voice” judge Adam Levine launched his first fragrance, “Adam Levine,” for both men and women due in stores this month. The lead singer’s new perfume and cologne duos will feature microphone-inspired bottles and understated scents.

“ I like basic fragrances. I didn’t want to smell like a department store. And there’s an intimacy level that you have to think about. You don’t really want someone to smell you unless they’re really close to you,” Levine told Women’s Wear Daily.

The men’s eau de toilette will feature a warm citrus scent while the women’s eau de parfum will smell like a spicy, woody floral. The fragrance line will be available first in Macy’s department stores.
