Cate Blanchett Dazzles in Rodarte Gown at 9th Annual Dubai Film Festival

Actress Cate Blanchard has always pushed the envelope when it comes to clothing choices she and her stylist make for red carpet appearances.  For the the Life of PI’ Opening Gala at 9th Annual Dubai Film Festival, the Hobbit actress hit it out of the part in a flowy Rodarte gown from the Spring 2013 collection.

The short sleeved lilac silk and sheer chiffon gown was ethereal, with copper panel insets accentuating the actress’ waist.  The skirt of the gown was sheer and billowed in the wind as she walked down the red carpet. She kept her look simple with peep-toe Jimmy Choo heels, diamond studs and a silver watch.  Tres chic!
