One of the awesome perks during fashion week is getting invitations to visit gifting suites and beauty lounges. Allure magazine partnered with Diet Coke and Maybelline to create a fabulous lounge at the Empire Hotel during New York fashion week to give editors and attendees a spot to get makeup touch-ups, hair braiding and buns by Ricardo Rojas salon and manicures with some of Maybelline’s fall colors.
As I waited patiently for my hair appointment to get a halo braid for an evening event (yes I love freebies), a well dressed blonde slipped into the stylist chair, taking my spot. Now normally I would have flipped my lid and kicked her out of the chair but it was singing sensation Natasha Bedingfield, who needed a quick touch-up before hitting the next show.

Natasha was sweet enough to tweet me back after I tweeted her about the hair appointment situation.
