Since adding a clothing collection to complement her accessories collection, designer Rebecca Minkoff has gain a staunch following among socialites, celebrities and bloggers.  Her fusion of casual downtown cool with the modern sophisticate was evident in her spring 2013 collection, inspired by iconic sixties and seventies photographer Slim Aarons, noted for his photographs of jet-setters, celebrities and socialites lounging poolside.

The Rebecca  Minkoff girl for spring 2013 will look especially spritely in overalls, hot denim pants, breezy trapeze dresses and bootcut pants with tropical wallflower prints.  The color spectrum for spring in the collection was a mix of faded celadon and dove gray mixed with indigo, mustang red and vivid green.  The aesthetic was feminine-meets-tomboy with easy pieces that can be mixed and matched with things already in your closet for spring.  DJ Cassidy and Tennis provided a live soundtrack for the Rebecca Minkoff show.
