Victoria Beckham is expanding her fashion empire to include an optical collection, reports WWD this morning.  The designer turned model, turned fashion editor (even if it’s just for one issue) says she needs eye glasses but has not been able to find a flattering prescription frame.  She has decided to create her own collection under her Victoria Beckham label in partnership with Cutler & Gross.

Each optical lens in the six piece collection will come in three colorways, including black, tortoise, topaz, yellow and frost green; and will be made from metal and acetate with accents of horn, pearl oyster and tortoise shell. Each pair will retail for $410 at specialty stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Harrod’s and Neiman Marcus beginning in January/February 2013.
