Former queen of daytime talkshows, Oprah Winfrey is showing off her natural locks once again, and this time, it’s for the cover of O Magazine.  Remember when she showed off her hair natural locks back in 2009 on her talk show? She showed off one of the longest, thickest head of natural hair many have seen, causing fans to question the authenticity.  Back then, Miss Winfrey took to her Twitter account to tell all her followers that her hair was indeed real and all hers.  No weaves here for the talkshow diva.

Well Miss Winfrey, as a wearer of au naturel hair myself, I congratulate you for showing black women that there is no shame in rocking their natural curls.  For herWhat I Know Column, she writes

“I wanted to wear it close-cropped a la Camille Cosby but her husband Bill convinced me otherwise.  ‘Don’t do it,’ he said.  ‘You’ve got the wrong head shape and you’ll disappoint yourself.’  I took his advice. I even notice a change in my dogs when they get their summer cuts: they’re friskier and livelier, feeling more themselves once the weight of the hair is released.”

We believe you Miss O! Your hair is all yours. Now can you please tell us the products you use to get such a long mane? The September issue of O Magazine hits news stands August 7th.
