Basil Soda Hoping Jessica Stam Boosts His Image With Fall Campaign

August 8, 2012

Designer Basil Soda is trying to amp the image of his brand, particularly in Europe, by tapping model Jessica Stam to front his fall ’12 advertising campaign.

Best known for creating architectural pieces for mega stars like Marion Cotilliard and Carrie Underwood, Soda not a widely recognizable name in the industry.

Lensed by Daniel Sannwald, the campaign depict Stam – with an angled jet black bob and black lipstick – posing in a structured black satin dress with silver accents and latex gloves.

The images will appear in European fashion books like French Vogue, Numéro and L’Officiel this fall.

Soda started out in the fashion world as a couture designer, but moved into the ready to wear arena in 2010.
