There is so much buzz surrond the upcoming movie adaptation of the iconic novel Anna Karenina staring Keira Knightley and Jude Law.  The film takes place in the opulent setting of 19th century Russia in an aristocratic society.  One of the most talked about components of this movie is the costumes, which will feature lots of fur, lace and tulle gowns, hats and luxe jewelry.

What would a woman belonging to the upper class wear to a ball? Ornate jewelry of course.  For the movie, Chanel Joaillerie was the jewelry of choice to adorn the neck and wrist of the main character Anna.  Though the average person will most likely not be able to afford any of the designs – especially love the camelia necklace and layered pearls – we’re certain there will be knock-offs as soon as the movie hits theaters.  Banana Republic is also coming out with a collection of clothing and accessories inspired by the movie.  Here’s to hoping we see some opulent pearl and floral necklaces.
