April 13, 2011

Marc Jacobs joins the Human Rights Campaign – the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization – with a new fashion collaboration.  Jacobs, openly gay and a long time activist to raise awareness about unfair taxes, is using his influence to make a bold statement about Marraige Equality by collaborating with the Human Rights Campaign on a new t-shirt design that went on sale today.  It features an illustration of a couple with a child and the phrase “I pay my taxes, I want my rights.”

The tshirt is constructed of 100% pima cotton and satin garment washed for a super soft hand, this t-shirt is available in unisex sizes S-XXL in antique white.  It is the latest designer collaboration by Marc Jacobs exclusively for HRC. The limited-edition collaboration will be sold exclusively at HRC Stores in Provincetown, MA; San Francisco, CA; Palm Springs, CA; Washington, D.C.; and shop.hrc.org.  100% of net proceeds will go towards HRC’s fight for equality.  Retails at $35
