In celebration of Earth Day, H&M will showcase a sustainability booth in Union Square Park on Tuesday, April 22. The event will take place from 11am to 7pm and will feature environmental activities and entertainment for the whole family.
Guests attending are encouraged to donate any brand of unwanted clothing to the H&M garment recycling bins. H&M Conscious materials and pamphlets will be available to guests, as well as an H&M spokesperson to answer any questions.
H&M is one of the largest users of organic cotton in the world, and in the spring they created a limited edition Conscious Collection, made with high-quality fabrics including vegetable tanned leather and organic silk cultivated from mulberry trees. In addition, H&M was named one of the Most Ethical Companies of 2014 for the fourth consecutive year.
