maryfull_2810459aDownton Abbey fans rejoice! For those of you who loved the 45-carat diamond tiara worn by Lady Mary on her wedding day, you will be pleased to know that the original accessory is available for rent for your special day.

London-based jeweler Bentley & Skinner made the glitzy £125,000 garland, which is described as a ‘spray of leaves and floral clusters, pavé-set throughout with old-cut diamonds.’

Brides-to-be looking to celebrate their wedding in similar Georgian glory can borrow the piece for £1,250 a day, although a deposit of £125,000 is also necessary to cover the overall cost of the tiara.

Mothers of the bride can also compliment the Downton theme by renting the tiara worn by Dame Maggie Smith during the series two Christmas special. The daily hire sum for the accessory is £5,700, with a similarly hefty deposit fee.
