Carey Mulligan As Daisy Buchanan in Vogue

April 15, 2013

One of the most anticipated motion pictures this year is Baz Lurhmann’s 3D adaptation of The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carrie Mulligan, Toby Maguire and Isla Fisher.  The movie hits theaters this May and its starlet Carey Mulligan graces the cover of Vogue magazine as her character Daisy Buchanan and we’re in love.

In the editorial shot by Mario Testino, Carey looks timeless in Chanel Haute Couture, Miu Miu, Oscar de la Renta, Nina Ricci, Alexander McQueen, Tiffany & Co., Fred Leighton, Dior Haute Couture and incredible headpieces created by Julien d’Ys.

In the accompanying interview, Mulligan compares her character Daisy to a Kardashian, talks about her red carpet moments and going wild and crazy with the Olsen twins after finding out she’d gotten the major role in the movie.  We also learn she beat out Scarlett Johansson, Michelle Williams, Blake Lively, Keira Knightley, and Natalie Portman for the role of Daisy.
