The 2013 Jameson Empire Awards were held in London on Sunday evening at the Grosvenor House.  Some of the biggest names in British film, radio and television turned out for the occasion.  Skyfall won big, as well as Dame Helen Mirren, who was honored with the Legend Award.  The red carpet fashion was not as exciting as the Oscars or even the SAG awards but there were a few stunners.
Jameson Empire Awards Red Carpet Roundup 2 Irish TV presenter Laura Whitmore wore a gold-embellished black mini dress by Julien Macdonald. The sheer hem and cinched waist is youthful and sexy. She accessorized with black vertiginous pumps with a red heel.

Singer Ellie Gouding wore simple black L’Agence halter dress with two-tone Nicholas Kirkwood sandals. She accessorized with the Kzeniya ‘Wild Black’ clutch,

Vanessa Kirby wore a cream and blue printed skirt and top by Michael van der Ham, which she accessorized with printed Nicholas Kirkwood booties, an L.K. Bennett clutch and Fiya Jewellery ring

Welsh actress Alexandra Roach looked effortlessly beautiful in whispy lime green long sleeved dress by Emilia Wickstead, which she paired with  nude Christian Louboutin pumps
Jameson Empire Awards Red Carpet Roundup 3 Beth Tweddle wore a red floral dress by Mark Melia Fashion, which she accessorized with black Prada pumps and jewelry by Tresor Paris.

Jodie Whitaker looked a bit too matchy with her sleeveless v-neck maroon dress, maroon booties and maroon nails.  Were it not for that teal clutch – which did nothing for her outfit –  I would have thought she was part of Maroon 5 (joking).

Radio host Edith Bowman wore a Mother of Pearl Irvetta floral-print silk midi dress which she paired with the Christian Louboutin ‘Miyousra’ pumps and a red clutch.

Jo Hartley wore a pistachio and cream color block dress for the occasion, which she paired with nude pointed toe pumps.

Lauren Haddock wore a long sleeved blue gown by Alberta Ferretti.  The chiffon peplum overlay and train made this dress a bit more youthful.

Helen Mirren who can do no wrong, wore a floral print dress by Dolce & Gabbana with a black Dolce & Gabbana coat on top during her red carpet appearance.  Princess Beatrice wore the camel version of this coat in December.

Jenna-Louise Coleman whore black-and-white floor-length dress with sharp shoulders and a leather belt by Latvia designer, Katya Shehurina. She styled her look with the Kzeniya ‘Wild Black’ clutch.

Downton Abbey actress Joanne Froggatt wore a mini skirt suit by Vivienne Westwood Red Label.  I wish she would get a stylist for red carpet events.  If she already has a stylist, I hope she fired him or her because her figure is too amazing to be wearing such dowdy outfits. What would Lady Mary say?
