In Breakfast at Tiffany's Holly Golightly says, "Personally, I think it would be tacky to wear diamonds before I'm 40." Personally I would love to wear diamonds but I can't afford $50,000 statement necklaces; which is why I love jewelry designer Alexis Bittar so much for bringing lucite to my attention years ago.  This season, Prada brought back lucite with a vengeance.

From jewelry to sandals and sunglasses, Prada accessories were dripping in crystal clear lucite pieces mixed in with some colorful ones.  I can't afford Prada so I am excited to see A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz come out with a lower priced collection of lucite jewelry. The well-priced pieces include sparkly and shiny statement necklaces and pendants with colorful turquoise and other spring inspired stones that will go with everything in your closet. The pieces range in price from $150 to $225 and are the perfect accessory to transition from day to night.
