Dad, aka Karl Lagerfeld, is miniaturized this fall thanks to Tokidoki, the Italian manufacturer of Japanese inspired figurines and toys. I can’t help it, the funky fresh design head at Chanel can do no wrong with his calm, cool and collected demeanor and awe-inspiring collection, both couture and ready-to-wear. Unlike the $1,000 Karl Lagerfeld bear, the 10-inch Tokidoki mini Karl Lagergeld figurine is just $190, the prefect price for my girlfriends to pitch in and buy it for me for Christmas.
I’m not one to play with toys but this Tokidoki mini Karl is going to be my BFF come winter. Chanel and Karl lovers please note that the figurine is likely to sell out when it drops exclusively at Collete next month. It will also be available just in time for Christmas at the Tokidoki flagship stores in New York, Milan, Los Angeles and specialty stores.
