I first saw this dress at Urban Chic boutique during inauguration week. I felt so tempted to try it but I was in a bit of a rush. My friend Erin ended up buying that dress and wore it that night to one of the inaugural parties. The yellow strapless ruffle dress is by Shoshanna who, season after season, delivers one of the best resort and spring collections moderately priced for those looking for quality without breaking the bank. The dress currently $385 but I am sure it will be flying off the shelves just in time for Gold Cup, polo matches and any spring soiree you can think off. I am not the only fan of this dress. American Idol contestant Kendall Beard recently wore it on stage, Demi Lovato, Leslie Bibb and Hills star Audrina Patridge are also huge fans of this asymmetrical dress.
You can never go wrong with black but I think the yellow one is the perfect party frock for the spring. Kendall showed off her waist by belting the dress with a silk scarf and Demi’s gladiator strappies give the dress a little bit of a bad girl edge.
