Yowza! If only we all looked this good gasing up our cars at the filling station, we too would be prancing around in sexy Agent Provocateur lingerie. Crystal Renn shows off the racy underthings for the retro inspired collection from London lingerie brand Agent Provocateur. Shot by Purple editor Oliver Zahm, the spring 2013 campaign features Renn filling up her retro car at a retro gas station. The entire campaign, dubbed On the Road is very high glamour Seventies.
“For this season, I wanted the Agent Provocateur girls to escape the city and the boudoir and go on an adventure,” explained Zahm. “I had in mind the beautiful architecture of 70′s gas stations found in Ed Ruscha’s work ‘Twentysix Gasoline Stations.’ I also thought of girls shot by Helmut Newton in this same place, playing with the gas pumps. The gas station is a fetish, a place to have fun and stretch your legs after hours of driving, a place where you can accidently meet a handsome stranger,” he said of his inspiration for the shoot.
