It’s no secret Anna Wintour had a big hand in getting President Obama re-elected for a second term last month. The Vogue editor-in-chief rallied her celebrity and fashion friends to host lavish, hot ticket dinners, the Runway to Win election memorabilia from some of today’s hottest designers and globe trotting fundraisers most of us couldn’t afford. In total, she raised more than $40 million dollars for President Obama.
Looks like Anna’s influence on the campaign and business has gone unnoticed. Rumor has it she is in the running for a diplomatic appointment to either Britain or France, two very prestigious and appropriate posts that will definitely suit her well. After all, she does spend a lot of time in both countries because of her fashion ties. Here’s to more Anna spottings with the Duchess of Cambridge, because clearly we’re rooting for her to be Ambassador to Great Britain.
