BEAUTY CORNER Scentsational — 18 November 2012

It was only a matter of time before Italian fashion label Marni launched a fragrance. Available exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue in February 2013, the eponymous scent is said to be be darker and spicier than the other “floral and fruity” designer fragrances on the market.  The lovely polka dot bottle is very minimalist but stays true to the Marni aesthetic with a punch of red on the topper and the logo.  The perfume will retail for $105 for 65-ml and $155 for 120-ml bottle.  For the ad campaign, Marni tapped photographer Nick Knight to capture Brazilian model Raquel Zimmerman for the black and white portrait.
