Dolce & Gabbana Sicilian Baroque Eyewear Collection

November 16, 2012

In keeping with the Baroque theme from its Fall/Winter 2012 collection, Dolce & Gabbana has released the Sicilian Baroque Eyewear collection.  Gilded roses and foliage run along the frames of each pair, available in sunglasses and prescription frames.  The eyewear is a compliment to the opulent details seen in the runway collection, with details reminiscent of Italian frescoes and vintage lace accents.

The Dolce & Gabbana drew inspiration for some of the frames in the Sicilian Baroque Eyewear collection.  The gilded roses and unfurling vines site atop the frames like a tiara.  The temples of the frames are finished with crystal acetate and each frame is finished by hand and housed in an exquisite burgundy velvet box.  The eyewear collection is available atDolce & Gabbanaboutiques and Sunglass Hut nationwide.
