Reality star Kim Kardashian is either extremely loved or extremely hated. Her million or so followers on Twitter follow her every word to either complement or cuss her out. The Armenian beauty, who is currently dating hip hop mogul Kanye West, posted a photo of herself with a side swept hair covering her eye with the caption, “Aaliyah hair today <3 and immediately received a barrage of comments from “love it” to calm the fuck down HOE you can never be Aaliyah. Let’s just get that straight.. Shiii,” to “She’s trying so hard to be black.” Poor KiKi!
Kim is no stranger to ridicule and we doubt she takes the time to go through all the comments she receives on her Instagram posts. This particular photo has received 121656 likes and 4543 comments. Kim gets a nod in our book for knowing who Aaliyah is and trying to copy the hairstyle. The late singer was extremely beloved, especially in the African American community.
On another note, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has stated that it will not grant Kim a “non-talented celebrity” a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, an aspiration Kim is chasing after, according to her interview in V Magazine.
“Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars, etc. in the category of television, live-stage performance or motion pictures,” a chamber of commerce rep told The Hollywood Reporter. “They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.” Kim has made several appearances on Drop Dead Diva as the con artist Nikki Lapree, and will also appear in Tyler Perry’s The Marriage Counselor. She also has her Screen Actors Guild (SAG) card after starring in Carl’s Junior commercials.
