Nail art is here to stay ladies, and if you haven’t gotten with the program yet, I suggest you look to the Kate Spade spring 2013 show for inspiration.  Created by nail guru Deborah Lippmann, the nails for the Kate Spade girl this spring is long, pointy and colorful with a gingham print.  Lippmann created the edgier, grittier nails to complement the “quite sweet and quite preppy look.”  We’re going to head to our favorite manicurist at Ten Over Ten in Tribeca to see if she can replicate this look for us.  If all else fails, a little trial and error might be the next option.
