Having a significant other cheat on you is hurtful enough but add to that a public unveiling of that betrayal.  Robert Pattinson has kept his cool in public since girlfriend Kristen Stewart admitted to cheating on him with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.  The actor escaped to Ojai, Calif. to hide out at Reese Witherspoon’s range and had not been seen in public since.  Well last night, he came out looking smashing and strong at the photo call of his new movie Cosmopolis in New York City.

Wearing a blue Gucci suit perfectly showing off his tall, fitted frame, Pattinson was met by throngs of fans and supporters as well as paparazzi looking to capture him for the tabloids.  We’re happy to report R-Patz kept his composure, looked breathtaking and well-groomed as if to silently convey to everyone that he had moved on.

Of course the real awkward moments are going to come when he has to appear with Kristen during the Breaking Dawn Part II promotions.  We’re sure they’ll both be as professional as can be given the circumstances.  The silver lining for Pattinson is that the Twilight movie is the very last in the franchise. He can say goodbye to that and his relationship with a clean break after that, and the MTV movie awards.
