FASHION Foot Notes — 06 July 2012

This just in! Louis Vuitton will get its own shoe salon when in September at Saks Fifth Avenue’s famed 10022-Shoe salon.  It will be the first time Louis Vuitton will be offering its entire selection of footwear – both casual and evening – outside of its stand-alone boutiques.  To commemorate the new Louis Vuitton shoe salon,  Saks will get an exclusive shoe: a pointed glitter and embroidered pre-fall pump with the signature LV lock on the toe.

Louis Vuitton will run the shoe salon, which will be located on the Fifth Avenue side of Saks Fifth Avenue.  Vuitton also plans on opening shoe salons at other luxury retailers around the world.  Whoever said New York wasn’t the best shopping capital in the States, or perhaps the world, take note. Louis Vuitton wants to have its first stand alone shoe salon outside of its boutiques here.  Time to start saving so I can go shopping.
