A sassy Katie Holmes strikes a pose with hand on hip for the August issue of Elle magazine.  The actress and budding designer looks bold with bangs and long tresses while looking tough in menswear inspired style. Wearing suspenders over black trousers and a button front tank, she plays peekaboo by showing off her see through bra.

Holmes, who announced her split from Tom Cruise after five year of marriage last week also announced her plan of showing her women’s wear label Holmes & Yang during New York Fashion Week, following in the footsteps of music and fashion mogul Victoria Beckham.
