Karl Lagerfeld isn’t one to do anything half assed.  Instead using watercolors or charcoal to sketch his creations for Chanel, Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld Paris and his countless collaborations, he uses eyeshadows by Shu Uemura. For the past twenty years to be exact.

His love affair with the beauty brand has morphed into a makeup collection slated to launch in November.  The Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura collection will be an homage to Shu Uemura and will reflect Karl’s ‘iconic, ironic style.’
