Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively caused a big stir last week when it was announced that she was to become the face of Gucci’s new fragrance Gucci Premiere, a scent inspired by Gucci’s atelier gowns.  The blonde bombshell is a Chanel darling, having been plucked by Karl Lagerfeld himself to star in a Chanel handbag campaign as well as don the iconic French fashion house’s frocks for high profile red carpet events. Jumping ship from one prolific brand to another isn’t a crime in our book, although loyalty should be honored, unless of course, she ran it by Karl before accepting the Gucci offer.
