Last week, we got a sneak peak at what we thought would be Blair Waldorf’s wedding gown for her upcoming nuptials to Prince Louis of Monaco. Turns out she changed her mind about the gorgeous Vera Wang gown with silver embellishments on the bustier.
If you watched the show, you will know that Blair decided to go with the other dress Vera designed for her because the first gown reminded her too much of all the tragedies that had befallen her last year. The designer even made a special appearance on the show.
Well, for the 100th episode of the CW drama series, Blair gets married (not if Chuck has a say) to Prince Louis because she made a pact with God to spare Chuck’s life after their paparazzi driven accident (or possible Trip’s sabotage of the car breaks?). The stage is set for a royal wedding with Serena wearing a gorgeous one shoulder gown, while Blair’s bridesmaids done a cocktail frock from Vera Wang’s diffusion line for David’s Bridal. Eleanor Waldorf’s gown for the wedding was stunning. If you are in the market for mother of the bride outfits, make sure to hit up David’s Bridal.
Gossip Girl producers and cast members are keeping mum about the opening scene of the 100th episode, which features the main characters dressed in costumes from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Of course Serena van der Woodsen is the sultry sex bomb Marilyn Monroe and Blair, as expected, imitates Holly Golightly. Whether the characters will be singing, dancing or re-enacting dream sequences is anyone’s guess. You’ll just have to stay tuned to tomorrow night’s episode.
