First Look: Ralston Handbags

April 15, 2011

Our nation’s capital is the epicenter of power and prestige.  Fashion doesn’t really come to mind when you think of Washington, DC but that’s about to change.  Among the emerging designers hailing out of the city is Paige Ralston, a former anchor turned handbag designer.  Her Ralston handbags, made of fine Argentinian leather, are lavish, luxurious and lovely and perfectly suited for women with discerning taste.

The Cindy handbag, a structured woven bag, is sleek and sophisticated with gold hardware adorning its exterior. It exudes posh and panache, and versatile enough to be appropriate for a girl in her 20s or lady of leisure. The Cindy’s long handles provide ample room and space to be carried over the shoulder but short enough to be carried in your hands.  It also comes in cheetah and zebra prints as well as a crocodile pattern and retails for $795.

If structure isn’t your thing, Ralston also has an assortment of slouchy looks including the woven Lilly, Lilium and Luz bags as well as the Parachute and Stella Knot handbags in a bevy of mouthwatering colors that will make Serena van der Woodsen run to Henri Bendels to nab each piece.  Ralston makes its debut this month at Henri Bendel’s on April 28 – May 1 with a trunk show.  Meet the designer, Paige, and get one of these lavish arm candies that Heidi Klum has been spotted toting around.  Ralston handbags retail for $595 – $995.
